decals can be applied fired and non-fired. One major benefit of using
non-firing decal transfers is that you do not have to be committed
to keep the same design or any design for that matter. If you decide
to remove the decals from your tiles, just use a sponge with soap
and water and you will be back to your blank ceramic tiled surface.
When the decals are not fired they are not permanent and not intended
for surfaces that wash in use, such as the shower or the kitchen back
splash. Whereas, if you fire your decals, they would be permanent
and could be used on any surface.
